Project narrative

On June 19, a team of 6 traditional Chinese physicians went to Singapore and Thailand to give free medical consultations and lectures on traditional Chinese medicine. The doctors were organized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, jointly with the China Overseas Exchange Association. In addition to giving 159 patients free consultation at Singapore Thong Chai Medical Institution (Tongji Hospital), the team also attended academic conferences on traditional Chinese medicine. The team gave free consultations in Phuket Island, Hat Yai and Bangkok while in Thailand, with more than 500 local people receiving a consultation. The team finished their half-month mission in Singapore and Thailand and continued to Myanmar, Cambodia, and Vietnam (ID #38903).
