On November 29, 2006, the Chinese Ministry of Information Industry donated 50 sets of Lenovo computers to the Vietnamese Ministry of Postal Communications. The handover ceremony was attended by Chinese Ambassador Hu Wen. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.
