Project narrative

On 19 July 2014, the Chinese Ambassador, Xie Feng, on behalf of the Chinese Government, donated 2,000 Ramadan Packages to the BKKKS organisation in Indonesia. Ambassador Xie first sent Ramadan greetings and best wishes to all those present at the event and the Indonesian people on behalf of the Chinese Government, the Chinese people and the Chinese Embassy. He said the Ramadan is a sacred month for Muslims and an opportunity to show solidarity and mutual help. The Chinese Embassy, through today's donations, hoped to do what it could for the poor and orphans in Jakarta and send the goodwill of the Chinese people, particularly the Chinese Muslims, towards the Indonesian people.
