Project narrative

On September 1, 2011, the Hebei University and Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro held the opening ceremony for the Confucius Institute at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. China’s Chen Xiaoling Consul General in Rio de Janeiro, Chinese embassy in Brazil’s cultural attaché Mr. Zheng Ke, President of Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro Mr. Josefa, and Hebei Education Department deputy director Yan Chunlai attended the ceremony.
