Description

On September 26th, 2008, Chinese Ambassador to Brazil Chen Duqing on behalf of the Confucius Institute Headquarters and the University of Brasilia president Roberto Achilles signed an agreement for the establishment of the Confucius Institute at the the University of Brasilia. Nearly 100 people attended the ceremony. This is the second Confucius Institute at the University of Brasilia in Brazil and was established through the Chinese Academy cooperative unit of the elite Group of Hebei Institute of Media Education. The institute is still functioning today.
