Full Description

Project narrative

The Confucius Institute at the Catholic University of Peru was established on December 11, 2007, according to Hanban, and formally inaugurated on March 20, 2009, at an opening ceremony. The institute is jointly run with Shanghai International Studies University. The institute will provide a platform for cultural exchange between China and Peru in order to provide mutual understanding through language courses and enhance trade relations.
