Full Description

Project narrative

The Confucius Institute at the University of Piura in Peru opened was established on December 11, 2007. The opening ceremony was held on September 25, 2009. Chinese Ambassador to Peru Mr. Zhao Qyuyi, Cultural Counselor Mr. Shi Ze, former Peruvian Ambassador Wushao Liang, and Piura University representative Antonio Puyol, among others, attended the ceremony. The Confucius Institute is expected to expand bilateral trade relations between China and Peru by providing language and cultural institution.
