Project narrative

On 26 July 2012, the Chinese Embassy invited Indonesian students and parents to gather for the Chinese Government Scholarship ceremony. It is stated that the scholarship (in 2012) admitted more science and engineering students to help with the modernization of services in Indonesia. Accepting Chinese institutions this year include, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University, Fudan University, Huazhong University of Science and other well-known Chinese universities. In 2012, there were 38 Indonesian student recipients in total, of which 17 were Freshmen and 21 included students that had already been admitted into the Chinese institutions back in 2011.
