Description

The Handing over Ceremony of cultural items from the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Maldives was held on December 30, 2014 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Mohamed, Ambassador-At-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and His Excellency Mr. Wang Fukang, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Maldives signed the handing over certificate. The gifts from the Chinese Government include books both in Chinese and English; ethnic costumes such as cheongsam, Han costume; folk musical instruments such as erhu, zither, lute; articles of daily use such as cloisonne crafts reflecting Chinese characteristic culture.
