Project narrative

In 2012 China funded the renovation of the Fatufatufala 'I Fale Lalava district hall and sports field in Kolovai. The value of this aid was $110,000 USD, and the implementing organization was China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation. The project began in 2012, and included fixing leaks, repainting, and refurbishing the kitchen and bathrooms, and restoring the sports field. The hall is used for community functions as well as an emergency shelter during cyclone season. The project was completed on January 26th 2013. The commitment date for this project is unknown.
