Project narrative

In 2003, China provided a Chinese language teacher to Tonga High School. In 2005, the Chinese embassy reported that this instructor taught at the school for over two years, and would soon be replaced with another Chinese language teacher. This project is linked to Record ID#39243, where China rebuilt Tonga High School after it was destroyed in a fire in 2000.
