Project narrative

On May 8, 2009, Wu Baofeng, the wife of the Chinese Ambassador to Vanuatu, on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Vanuatu, donated materials such as books and pamphlets about China, as well as a TV set and DVD player to the Port Vila Public Library. The books were intended to to provide readers with the history, culture, customs, and geography of China as well as details regarding its tourism sector and the people’s daily life. The monetary value of this donation is unknown.
