Project narrative

During the visit from 17-24 June, Jamaica former Prime Minister P.J. Patterson signed with Chinese goverment bilateral agreements for cooperation in education, which represents a five-year renewable contract and will see China sending tutors to teach the language at the University of the West Indies. Both countries will explore the possibility of teaching of the language in secondary schools in Jamaica.
