On December 6, 2013, the Chinese Embassy in Dominica donated 5 boxes of Chinese language learning materials to the Orion Academy to assist the school's new Chinese language course. The donated materials included textbooks, exercise books, charts, and other materials. The monetary value of this donation is unknown.
