Description
On January 14, 2002, China provided humanitarian aid worth 5m yuan [about 605,000 dollars] to Kazakhstan. The head of a Chinese delegation, a member of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Ismail Amat, talked about the aid during a meeting with Kazakh Prime Minister Kasymzhomart Tokayey - the meeting reflected a symbolic 10th anniversary of a strong bilateral relationship between both countries. The allocated aid was directed to the needy in Kazakhstan.
