Project narrative

On July 20, 2011, the Chinese Government pledged to provide the Government of Uzbekistan with a $500,000 grant for emergency relief after an earthquake. On December 26, 2011, Chinese ambassador Zhang Wei and Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Finance Jorkin Tulsonov signed an intergovernmental transfer certificate for the Uzbek government’s $500,000 foreign exchange humanitarian assistance project in Tashkent.
