Description
China is to provide 2m yuan as assistance to Mongolia for the prevention of foot-and-mouth disease. Foreign Minister L. Erdenechuluun and the Chinese ambassador to Mongolia, Huang Jiakui, signed a letter of exchange on 2 May. On the same day the foreign minister and the US ambassador to Mongolia, J. Dinger, signed amendments to the agreement on the implementation of US funded projects. By signing this agreement, Mongolia is eligible to receive 12m dollars worth of technical assistance from the US This assistance is earmarked for financing economic growth, implementing new projects and consolidating democratic society in Mongolia.
