On January 26, 2010, China dispatched a second batch of relief aid to Haiti. This tranche of aid is worth 12 million RMB (about 1.76 million USD), and stands as a part of the 30 million RMB assistance package pledged on January 15, 2010. This second shipment included 65 tons of material, including 400 portable power generators, 10 water purifying machines, 500 tents, 20,000 items of clothing, medicines and other goods.
