In 2010, China committed to donate 100,000 doses of vaccine to Mongolia to help fight the spread of hand-foot-mouth disease in Eastern provinces. According to sources, China has produced the world's first hand food and mouth disease vaccine. It is unclear if the vaccines were ever received.
