Full Description

Project narrative

On May 4, 2011, China delivered farm machinery and crop seeds to the Mongolian government to help Mongolia boost its food production. The agricultural machinery, worth 900,000 yuan (about 138,000 U.S.dollars), included middle- and small-sized tractors, seeders and weeders. The aid was delivered in accordance with an agreement reached by China, Mongolia and U.N. Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) in 2010 to implement the South-South Cooperation program, that China donated 30 million USD to UN to establish a trust fund and Mongolia is the first country to use it.
