Project narrative

In 2006, according to the Lowy Institute source, the Chinese government committed 1 million RMB (approx. $100,000 USD) to purchase anti-malaria medicine for Papua New Guinea. On June 4, 2007, Chinese Ambassador Wei Ruixing attended the handover ceremony of the donation of 1 million RMB worth of anti-malaria drugs to Papua New Guinea. On behalf of the Chinese government and representatives of the Papua New Guinea government, the Papua New Guinea Ministry of Health, Peter Bart, signed the transfer certificate.
