Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On 20 November 2014, Yang Youming, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia, attended the handover ceremony for the Ng’ombe Early Childhood Development Center. Under the framework of “China-Africa People-to-people Friendship Action”, the Chinese Embassy partnered with the Child Fund Zambia in supporting the Ng’ombe ECD Center by providing grant funding for teaching and learning materials, installing outdoor play equipment, and drilling a borehole for the children to have access to clean and safe drinking water and reduce the risk of being infected by water borne diseases. The value of this grant is unknown.
