Project narrative

On January 28, 2013, the Chinese Government donated medical equipment and furniture worth $5,000,000 to the China-Yemen Friendship Hospital (or 48 Model Hospital) in the capital city of Sana'a. The grant agreement was signed by Yemen’s Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed al-Sa'adi and the Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Chang Hwa. The equipment handover ceremony took place on October 2, 2013.
