Full Description

Project narrative

On October 14, 2004, during King Abdullah's visit to China, the acting Jordanian Planning and International Cooperation Minister Hazem Al Nasser and Chinese deputy commerce minister Liao Xiaoqi signed a $1.2 million grant agreement. The grant proceeds were to be used to equip 21 schools and support an information center within the Prime Minister's Office. This agreement represented the fulfillment of pledges that were made during the visit of King Abdullah II to China in July 2004.
