Project narrative

In October 2011, the Chinese government donated $1 million in emergency response aid to the Turkish government after its Eastern Van province experienced a Richter 7.2 earthquake, causing heavy casualties and property losses, a total of 600 deaths, 4000 wounded, and a large number of houses collapsed.
