Project narrative

The Chinese Government provided a humanitarian aid package — including sugar, rice, cooking oil, and medicines — to Yemen in September 2011. The aid was intended to address the humanitarian crisis caused by armed conflict and resettlement of refugees in Yemen. These goods started to be given out to Yemenis in Oman in March 2012.
