Project narrative

On November 10, 2006, Shenyang Normal University and Saint Joseph University in Lebanon signed an agreement to establish the first Confucius Institute at a Middle Eastern University. The institution was operated by Shenyang Normal University. The institute started operation on February 1, 2007.
