Project narrative

On October 2, 2001, the Chinese Government provided $1 million of cash assistance to the Palestinian National Authority to help address difficulties caused by an Israeli blockade. Wu Jiuhong, director of the Chinese Office in Palestine, and Palestinian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation [Nabil Ali] Sha'th signed the handover agreement.
