Project narrative

In 2014, it was reported that China was assisting Bahrain in establishing a laboratory to support efforts to replenish Bahrain's fish stocks. The research facility would analyze water samples and assess fish diseases. In 2014 the laboratory was undergoing final preparations, and would be operated by Chinese fish specialists who would share expertise with Bahraini staff. The commitment date and financial value of this project are unknown.
