Full Description

Project narrative

In 2014, China pledged to provide Syria with RMB 20 million (3 million USD) of humanitarian aid. The first portion of the aid was dispatched on January 10, 2014. The next shipment arrived on January 12, 2014. On August 19, 2014, The handover ceremony of the Chinese medical assistance to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent was held in Syria. Chinese Ambassador to Syria Wang Kejian and Syrian Red Crescent Chairman Attar signed the handover certificate on behalf of the Chinese government and Syria. The assistance is meant to help Syrian families affected by the crisis.
