Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On October 22, 2009, the Chinese Embassy in Iraq donated office and educational equipment, such as computers, printers, and projectors, to the Foreign Service Institute, an institution affiliated with the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the capital city of Baghdad. The donation from the embassy was intended to aid the development of Iraqi education in foreign affairs. The donation to support the ministry came after a truck bombing terrorist attack on the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on August 19, 2009 killed or wounded hundreds of faculty, staff, and students of the institute and ministry. The monetary value of this donation is unknown.
