Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In response to the growing number of displaced people in South Sudan, the Chinese government granted the United Nations 1.6 million USD in March 2014 for construction of shelters. The shelters are for internally displaced persons and will provide space for refugees during the rainy seasons. At the time of signing, the Chinese government identified Zhonghao Overseas Construction Engineering Company Limited as the company responsible for constructing the shelters. However, little information exists regarding the status of the shelters.
