Project narrative

China provides $US 0.32 million for 17 scholarships to study in China. According to the news release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, a hosting event was held for recipients of the scholarship on August 16, 2006. However, it reported that there are 16 students who receive the scholarships, which is inconsistent with the Lowy Institute.
