Description

On September 3, 2004, Otar Danelia, the Georgian Minister of Agriculture, led a delegation in an official visit to China in signing a Memorandum of Cooperation with Chinese companies, government officials, and managers of the China Development Bank. A $25 million investment has been pledged as part of the memorandum for the agricultural sector of Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti in industries such as agriculture, fisheries, animal husbandry, refrigeration facilities, infrastructure, and agro-tourism development.
