Description

In 2000, the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine pledged to grant $14,000 of humanitarian assistance, including $5,000 in cash, to the families of the victims of an explosion at the Barakov mine in the Luhansk region. The Premier of People's Republic of China Zhu Rongji expressed deep condolences on behalf of the Chinese government to the victims of the mine accident.
