Project narrative

On July 16, 2006, through an agreement signed by Ukrainian Economy Minister Arseniy Yatsenyukniy and the Chinese ambassador in Ukraine, Gao Yusheng, the Chinese Government agreed to provide a $750,000 grant to the Government of Ukraine for the provision of technical equipment for the language laboratory of Dnipropetrovsk University, IT equipment to the Foreign Ministry's diplomatic academy and the University of Kyiv, and educational programs for trade and economic relations with China at the Ukrainian Academy of Foreign Trade.
