Project narrative

On February 27, 2001, the Chinese Government and the Government of Romania signed an RMB 5 million grant agreement. The agreement was signed in the presence of Romanian Prime Minister, Adrian Nastase, and the Vice-Premier of China's State Council, Wu Yi. The grant proceeds were to be used by the Government of Romania to upgrade its communications system in Victoria Palace (Palatul Victoria), which houses the Office of the Prime Minister. The implementation status of this project is unknown.
