Project narrative

On December 3, 2009, the Chinese embassy donated more than 300 books to the National Parliamentary Library of Ukraine (Natsionalʹna Biblioteka Ukrayiny Imeni Yaroslava Mudroho) in the city of Kyiv. Zhou Li, the Chinese ambassador to Ukraine, and Vilegzhanina Tamara, curator of the parliamentary library, attended the donation ceremony. 300 books were donated to the library, with topics ranging from such subjects as Chinese culture and history to economics, education and science.
