Description

On March 26 2007, China Development Bank and the VEB Russian development bank signed an agreement of cooperation for fostering investment in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. It's unclear what exact form the agreement takes. A VEB annual report states an agreement was signed, "on arranging financing investment projects on the territory of the Krasnoyarsk region –with the China Development Bank", which implies a type of credit line. A VEB source after the agreement was signed worded it as,"makes it possible to use resources of the China State Development Bank and its best practices in attracting credits to finance infrastructural projects." Media sources simply refered to as an "investment deal".
