Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

The Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka opened on March 5, 2016. The University of Dhaka applied for a Confucius Institute in September 2015, which Hanban approved on November 5, 2015. Yunnan University in China is partnered with the University of Dhaka. The website of the University of Dhaka Confucius Institute states that their institute will help China implement the One Belt One Road strategy. This project assumes that Hanban's November 5, 2015 request approval was the date of commitment for this project.
