Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In November 2006, the Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University and the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban) signed an agreement to cooperatively establish a Confucius Institute. With the persistent joint efforts of Tianjin Normal University and the Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, the Confucius Institute formally opened on December 19, 2006. The Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University is the flagship university of a royal normal universities conference which consists of more than 40 such universities. For many years, it has maintained close contact with the Chinese educational community. The two universities will dedicate their efforts to helping the Confucius Institute become the main center for training Chinese language teachers in Thailand.
