Project narrative

On April 24, 2015, Hanban agreed to found the Confucius Institute at Yeditepe University. The Confucius Institute is located in Istanbul and is tied to Nankai University. On September 27, 2017, the opening ceremony of the Yeditepe University Confucius Institute was held at the Faculty of Fine Arts Conference Hall. Yeditepe University opened the 4th Confucius Institute in Turkey with the participation of Yu Hongyang, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, and Bedrettin Dalan, Founder and Honorary President of Yeditepe University. The monetary value of the financial commitment that supported this project is unknown.
