Project narrative

On June 19, 2012, Hanban agreed to establish a Confucius Institute at Istanbul Okan University (İstanbul Okan Üniversitesi) in the city of Istanbul. This is the third Confucius Institute in Turkey. On May 1, 2013, the Confucius Institute at Istanbul Okan University was established, in a partnership with Beijing Language and Culture University. The monetary value of the financial commitment that supported this project is unknown.
