Project narrative

Between March 3 and 9, 2014, Makerere University of Ugandan and Xiangan University sealed two agreements: Agreement on Jointly Establishing Confucius Institute in Makerere University and Executive Agreement on Jointly Constructing Confucius Institute in Makerere University. On December 19 2014, the Confucius Institute at Makerere University held an opening ceremony. It was jointly built by Makerere Universty and Xiang Tan University. This is the first Confucius Institute in Uganda.
