Project narrative

In July 2015, China announced it would donate $5 million USD to aid in fighting the Ebola epidemic in Africa. On October 13, 2015, an agreement for the $5 million donation to the UN Ebola Response Multi-Partner Trust Fund was signed. The UN Ebola Response Multi-Partner Trust Fund is administered by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). In December 2014, China contributed $6 million to the UNDP for the fight against Ebola, see Record ID#45031.
