Project narrative

On 16 October 2006, a Confucius Institute, in partnership with the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, was founded at the Autonomous University of New Leon (Instituto Confucio de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León). According to the website for the Instituto Confucio de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL), the Institute is a space designed to learn foreign languages to promote peaceful global communication and the internationalization of UANL.
