Project narrative

On August 23, 2012, the Government of China made a commitment to grant the Government of Jordan CN¥15,000,000 for refugee relief. The aid was intended to respond to civil unrest in Syria and provide emergency humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) reported that China's contribution remains in the commitment phase. This project is captured by UNOCHA flow #97525.
