The Project is designed to improve labor market efficiency and participation, reduce unemployment, and enhance linkages and information flows between job seekers and employers, which will in turn contribute to the reduction of poverty in Laos. As of May 25, 2015 China has disbursed USD 392,578. The project was completed by December 2016. The remaining 500,000 USD provided to Cambodia for the South-South Cooperation Project on Employment Promotion Services is captured in Record ID#64701.
