Project narrative

In 2009, the Chinese Government provided 1.9 billion Ksh ($23.75 million USD) to the Kenya Ministry of Education to develop an Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) Center. This project was marked as in progress. The purpose of this project was to provide access to computers for training and education. This project falls under the Kenya Ministry of Education's technical vocational education and training program. Meru Technical Training Institute is implementing in capacity building, and the Chinese Ministry of Education is in charge of equipment.
