China sends 10 volunteer teaching assistants to Universiti Brunei Darussalam in Brunei

On Aug 9, 2015, 10 Chinese teaching assistants arrived at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam to volunteer for a year. Volunteers will carry out teaching assistance in the Business School, School of Health Sciences, and Language Center of the University of Brunei. In September 2016 the volunteer job was completed. It is one of the projects proposed by the leaders of China and ASEAN countries that "China will continue to send young volunteers to ASEAN countries". The project is a government cooperation project jointly organized and implemented by the Ministry of Commerce of China, the Central Committee of the Youth League and the Youth Volunteers Association. ("我校赴文莱青年志愿者成功完成援教使命回国") Before departure, the Communist Youth League and Municipal Committee conducted a 4-day training for these 10 text aid volunteers, and arranged related learning including team building, volunteer service concept, Brunei customs, and intensive English training.
